Star Wars Replica Light Saber

For all the Star Wars fans out there, and in my mirror, the Light Sabers offered by Parks Sabers Inc. are the Dream Toy.

From the quality-constructed stainless steel or aircraft aluminum handle to the electroluminescent blade, these replicas will make you the envy of all the science fiction fans you know — and a few of the mundanes, too.

The "36 inch blade" is strongly secured (40" overall, with 4" inside the handle) and easily detachable. Parks claims that it is virtually unbreakable, but I'm not sure I'd want to use my $200 light saber for a real duel. The electroluminescent lamp, which provides light to the 3/4" (outside diameter) blade is powered by one 9V battery.

Parks also offers custom blades in green, blue, yellow, red and purple colors — so you can be your favorite Jedi Master or Sith Lord.

Parks Sabers offers 12 different models of light saber, as well as replacement blades and other interchangeable parts.

Their website includes a statement that Parks Sabers' productss are original designs and creations and that Parks Sabers is not affiliated with LucasFilms.
